Volumes of Love: Going to the Bridge and We’re…

It was time to meet Harry!

No, Harry is not Mr. Library’s first name.  Meet Harry.Harry was our trusty stead for the day, bringing me to my knight shining cufflinks.  We took an opportunity for another group shot before we got onto the trolley, and then began the process of getting me on.  I began to make a “beep… beep… beep…” noise whenever I tried to go some place because I was a “bride load.”  Get it?  When wide loads go some place, they must beep.  So since it was a large dress and I could probably knock people around with it, we thought a bride load noise was fitting. With everyone safely aboard, Harry began my last ride as a single lady.  This was one of my absolute favorite parts of the day.  Not only was the day beautiful (I was really taking it in for the first time), but people were smiling and having a good time.  How cute are Mom and Dad Library?

Once we turned onto the road that the bridge is on, my stomach did a flip flop.  This was it.  I was about to get married.  Mr. Library was going to be my husband in less than an hour.  Holy moly!

When I thought my nerves would really take hold, my girls did something amazing.  They sang.  No, they didn’t just sing any old song to get my mind off from my nerves; they sang this:

I know everyone claims that they have the best bridesmaids ever, but I’m pretty sure that this sing-along catapulted mine into first place.  Everyone laughed and sang along! While I was still a little nervous, I loved this time with my girls and my family.  It was absolutely perfect.

Then, I saw it.  Actually, Bird Bearer A saw it first.Just like that, we were there.

Walk me through this:

Our bridal party began to come together!

We did as UPS does!

We’re cat-walking baby!

We practiced eating!

Our wedding gets Jewish!

The girls and I have a slumber party!

I fell in love with a poet.

Mr. Library runs around.

Wake up call!

Christmas in July

Hairscapades abound

Making us up as we go

The Groom Squad strikes back

Magical flowers

We get the deets.

What should I wear today?
